In late March of 2013, Mario and Farah met each other for the first time. It was fate, or serendipity, that they were paired as Abang #11 and None #12 at the finals of Abang None Jakarta Selatan. They grew as close friends, always there for the other when one needs a listening ear, but never actually dated until end of 2018.

"Selalu jalan beda arah, tapi nggak pernah lepas dari radar," was perhaps the most accurate their closest ones can describe about Mario and Farah's nature of relationship prior to officially dating. She was always with somebody, and so was he.

They were not romantic, apparently not platonic either...

Then, there they were, on one December night, confessing their feelings to each other, ready to begin a new chapter that no one expected would've made it this far.

On Mario's 30th birthday, he proposed on stage, in the middle of Kunto Aji's (their favorite singer) song "Topik Semalam", at their first post-pandemic concert. And the rest is history.
